About Me

I am a Christian counselor, but non-Christians are most definitely welcome. I provide a safe environment to talk about your hurts, struggles, shame, and fear. I take my role seriously and seek to help carry your “burdens” and support you in overcoming challenges with love and deep compassion. I am both bilingual and bicultural, fluent in English and Korean. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.

My favorite Bible verses:

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand"

Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'"

Philosophy and Therapeutic Approach

A graduate of Columbia University's Psychological Counseling program, I specialize in treating mood disorders, anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, trauma, and related conditions. In my practice, I utilize an integrative approach that combines attachment-based, emotionally focused, and family systems therapies with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and psychodynamic therapy. My approach is interactive and collaborative. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, my goal is to work with you to reach your personal goals in a safe environment. I am passionate about what I do. Quality counseling can change your life and perspective.
