Dr. Inhyo Cho, Ph.D.
As a professional therapist, I offer therapy services in Korean and English. I chose to become a therapist after discovering that it was my calling and greatest joy to help people understand and embrace their life journey with my strengths in sensitivity, empathy, insight, and spirituality. Through my clinical experiences in Korea and the U.S., I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, which has deepened my appreciation for culture and diversity. Additionally, I have also served as an adjunct professor at a university, teaching psychology at the university level.
Life inevitably brings times of struggle and uncertainty. In those times, seeking support can open the door to healing, insight, and growth. I believe that psychotherapy offers a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their inner world. As a therapist, my goal is to be a “home for the heart” - a place where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Within the safety of this therapeutic relationship, I invite them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to better understand themselves and their connections with others. My approach is integrative, drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. This allows me to create a personalized and effective treatment plan for each individual. When spirituality is important to a client, I thoughtfully integrate faith-based or meaning-centered interventions to foster purpose, connection, and resilience.
