About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides both psychological assessment and therapy services in both English and Korean (Primarily English). Some of my specialties include ADHD evaluation and working with clients with psychosomatic disorders, mood disorders, and adjustment-related concerns (e.g., acculturative stress).

Philosophy and Therapeutic Approach

When providing services to clients, I utilize an integrative approach, with a primary focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and third-wave therapies, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based therapies. An integrative approach, to me, looks like paying close attention to both mind and body. I believe that this is crucial and essential in enhancing one’s psychological well-being because mind and body are inseparable, and they affect each other immensely. Therefore, I approach every client with this concept of mind-body interconnectedness in mind. Additionally, in the therapeutic space, I often incorporate my training in yoga/meditation and mindfulness to maximize the healing process.

Most importantly, I place great importance in making my clients feel understood and welcomed to increase the effectiveness of psychological services I provide.
