Individual
Therapy

In individual therapy, clients meet with their therapists one-on-one for approximately 50-minutes long sessions.
Many clients start noticing progress after approximately 8 sessions and some clients receive therapy for a couple
of years. The frequency of sessions and length of treatment may vary based on client’s concerns, severity of
concerns, and other factors.

We do not just listen and empathize but work toward changes using evidence-based approaches and interventions.
Our licensed English-speaking therapists will help you with a personalized treatment plan based on scientific
evidence and their clinical experiences.

In sessions, you may work on cognitive restructuring, developing healthier coping strategies (e.g., relaxation skills,
mindfulness), stress management, learning about yourself, improving interpersonal relationship skills (e.g.,
communication skills, social skills), acceptance, etc.

Most of our therapists use an integrative approach to therapy. Treatment approaches we provide include: Cognitive
behavioral therapy, Person-centered therapy, Interpersonal process approach, Mindfulness and acceptance-based
therapy, Brief psychodynamic, Solution-focused therapy, Emotion-focused therapy, Play therapy, and Parent training.

You may find that your distress mainly comes from a relationship with your partner.
Sometimes, it feels devastating when you think you are stuck in an unhealthy relationship. However, there is still hope!

Our therapists provide couples therapy to help you learn about the relationship pattern and unhealthy communication
styles while working on empathizing with each other, meeting each other’s needs, forgiving your partner,
and improving communication skills (e.g., expressing emotions, assertiveness), etc.
A crisis in your relationship can be an opportunity for you and your partner to develop a caring and satisfying
relationship in which both of you grow as a person.

Common issues: frequent arguments and conflicts, affairs, unhealthy communication, divorce or separation,
relocation adjustment, cross-cultural relationships, etc.

Therapy

Family can be complicated and it has a significant impact on individuals. Sometimes, your own effort seems not to
work to improve your life and you may realize that the family system needs to change for deeper healing.
Even though family therapy can be challenging because multiple people are involved, the impact of therapy can be
critical, particularly if you are concerned about your children.

Our therapists help families learn about their relationship patterns, improve communication, solve family conflicts,
and be better equipped to understand and manage unique family situations and create a healthier functioning home
environment.

process their emotions as well as unresolved traumas through play. Therapists also use techniques and
resources such as storytelling, role-playing, creative visualization, dance and creative movement, arts and crafts,
books, construction toys, and many others. Potential benefits include improving self-respect and respect for others,
alleviating anxiety or depressed moods, developing social skills and stronger family relationships, decreasing
problematic behaviors, etc.

Common issues: aggressive or angry behavior, problematic behaviors in school, anxiety, depression, grief, attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), traumatic experiences, family issues,
developmental delay or learning disabilities, domestic violence, abuse, and neglect.

Psychological
Evaluations

We offer comprehensive psychological evaluations to help clients better understand their unique cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Our evaluations provide valuable insights that can guide effective treatment planning and help individuals achieve greater clarity on their presenting concerns. We work with children, adolescents, and adults to assess a variety of concerns and provide personalized recommendations based on the results.

We provide a range of psychological assessment services, including ADHD evaluation and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) evaluation. These assessments help identify developmental and behavioral challenges, offering a clearer picture of how these conditions may be impacting one’s daily life. Through psychological evaluations, we aim to provide answers to concerns about cognitive, emotional, social, and/or behavioral functioning, and empower individuals and families with the knowledge to help enhance their quality of life supported by an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

Our services also include Learning Disability Assessment, Neuropsychological Assessment, and Emotional/Personality Assessment. Learning Disability Assessment can uncover difficulties in helping students access the support they need to succeed academically. Neuropsychological Assessment examines cognitive and executive functioning, often providing critical insights for individuals dealing with neurocognitive concerns, such as dementia or problems with memory. Emotional/Personality Assessment explores emotional well-being and personality traits, shedding light on factors that may influence one’s close relationships. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding that allows for personalized and effective intervention strategies.

Speech
Therapy

Speech and language therapy helps individuals of all ages improve their ability to communicate effectively, whether they struggle with articulation, language comprehension, fluency, or social communication. Communication difficulties can impact academic performance, professional success, and personal relationships, often leading to frustration and decreased self-confidence. Our therapists work with individuals to assess their unique challenges and create personalized treatment plans to enhance their speech and language skills.

In therapy sessions, individuals engage in targeted exercises to strengthen speech clarity, improve language processing, and build communication skills. Techniques may include articulation drills, vocabulary-building activities, fluency strategies, and interactive conversation exercises. For children, therapy often incorporates play-based methods such as storytelling, role-playing, and visual support to make learning more engaging. Adults may focus on strategies to improve public speaking, workplace communication, or recovering speech after an injury or neurological condition.

Our goal is to help clients overcome their communication barriers and feel more comfortable expressing themselves in daily life. Speech and language therapy not only improves speech production and comprehension but also enhances overall confidence and social connections. With the right guidance and support, individuals can develop the tools they need to communicate more clearly and effectively to achieve greater success and ease in their personal and professional interactions.
